Csömör (Hungarian: [ˈt͡ʃømør]) is a village in the Gödöllő District in Pest County, Hungary. It lies in the Budapest metropolitan area, north of the 16th district of Budapest and west of Kistarcsa, on the western part of the Gödöllő hills, in the turning of the Csömör stream.

NIGHT OF THE ORGANS IN TSCHÖMÖR

The Pest County municipality of Csömör joined the Night of Organs on 20 July.

In the evening at 20, 6 P. M., the Master Canon Bokros Levente The parish priest of Csomor welcomed the audience and gave a photo service.

Toth Roland told us in a few words how he got to know the organ of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Knöör, briefly describing the instruments and the pieces he had played during the evening. He explained that he was not playing the usual classical pieces, but pieces that would show a new side to the organ, so that the audience could hear sounds that they had not heard before..

During the concert, entitled MANE NOBISCUM – OUR MARADI VELUN, Johann Pachelbel, J.S. Bach, Eric Forberger, G. F. Handel, Karl Jenkins, Handel Cecilio, Ferenc Farkas. The audience rewarded the mute with a round of applause, and he also showed off his improvisational skills: the mute played the theme “Jöij Szentlélek…” (Holy Spirit…). The applause was repeated, the audience left the concert enriched with a huge response, and in front of the church they talked at length about how they had just got to know their organ.
