Performance of the National Anthem and the Anthem of Colégio Batista Mineiro
The announcer – We invite those present to listen to the National Anthem and, subsequently, the Anthem of Colégio Batista Mineiro, which will be performed by the Choir of the Centenary of Colégio Batista Mineiro, conducted by Maestro Leandro Tassi.
The National Anthem and the Hymn of Colégio Batista Mineiro are performed.

Announcer: We will now hear the Centennial Choir of Colégio Batista Mineiro, conducted by Maestro Leandro Tassi, who will present the following songs: Great is our God, by Graig Courtney, translated and adapted by Handel Cecilio; and Jesus loves me, by Mary MacDonald, translated and adapted by Handel Cecilio.

The speaker – On behalf of the deputies Léo Portela and Ivair Nogueira, we take this opportunity to thank the Centennial Choir of the Colégio Batista Mineiro for their participation in this solemnity and, in a special way, the little ones.

The Director and Course Coordinator of the Baptist School of Music, the organist Dr. Handel Cecilio acted as artistic director, in addition to elaborating all the liturgies of worship and ceremonies of the year of the Centenary of the Baptist Mining College. Handel Cecilio, created, managed and rehearsed the choirs, as well as the Great Choir of the Centenary, with 100 voices, children’s choir with 50 voices, Quintet of Metals of the Centenary, as well as the Symphonic Orchestra with 50 musicians chosen among the best of Belo Horizonte. It was the first time that something of this size was held in this institution. And as the General Director of the Baptist College (Baptist Education Network) himself said: “The musical part and the order of the service, coordinated by Prof. Handel Cecílio Silva, reached levels of excellence, evidenced by the performance of the Choir and Orchestra.
