Three musical entities in the organization phase
Minas Gerais Baptist Convention:
It is with great joy that we communicate the creation of the Association of Baptist Musicians Miners.
In a meeting that took place on July 26, in the premises of the Presbyterian Church in Ma-nhuaçu, present a representative number of musicians and interested people, a working group was chosen, consisting of Abigail Pena (PIB of Coronel Fabriciano), Andréa Gama (IB in Lavras), Handel Cecílio (PIB of Belo Horizonte), Jander Soares (PIB de Aimorés), Pr. Ken Richardson (PIB Belo Horizonte) and Tânia Costa (IB Barro Preto Belo Horizonte). This group will be responsible for running the Association during this year and for drawing up a statute for it.
At the next meeting of the Asso-ciation, scheduled for the day before the 68th Baptist Convention of Minas Gerais, the statute will be approved and the board of the Association will be elected.
Thus, the Ministers of Music, Directors of music departments and instrumentalists will no longer be isolated in their churches but will work together through the Association.
