International organ concert series in Amsterdam’s Obrechtkerk. Every last Friday evening of the month, the Obrechtkerk hosts a special concert in which the organ plays a central role. International organists and other instrumentalists make their appearance and play diverse and sometimes their own works. Organ quatre mains, horn quartet and harpsichord are part of the programming. The concerts start at 7:30 p.m. and are free of charge; there will be a door collection afterwards.
The first concert will be given by Brazilian organist Handel Cecilio. He will play works by Bach, Händel, Zipoli and others, as well as his own works for 4 hands, with organist Elisabeth Hubmann.
