On Thursday night, the Organist Handel Cecílio gave the Commented Audition at the Erico Veríssimo Museum, under the coordination of Professor Alexandre Machado Takahama. Bachelor in piano and interpretive practices at UMG, master in historical musicology and doctoral student in music at UNI-CAMP, also often acts as harpsichordist and pianist, is a professor of music at the Baptist College of Minas Gerais. He has worked as a researcher on the following topics: Pipe Organ, Urban Repertoire of the Iberian Baroque and Organaria of the Brazilian colonial, having been the creator of the project for the restoration of the Pipe Organ built in 1787 of the Church of the Third Order of Carmo de Diamantina in Minas Gerais. He has performed regularly as an organist and continuoist in the United States and Europe, and in Brazil, he has acted as organist in official events such as the Mass Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the translation of the Royal Family in other events linked to the Imperial and Royal Brazilian Family.
