Rede Batista invests in music

Contact with music is one of the main known means of relaxation, socialization and cognitive development. Hence the importance of seeking to understand and apply art to the lives of children and adults. Thinking about these benefits, the Baptist Education Network, from August, resumes the activities of the Baptist Choir and inaugurates the Baptist School of Music.

The Baptist Choir will have free and free participation for the entire community, both school and society. Divided between Coral Kids, for children between 7 and 12 years, and Young and Adult Choir, from 14 years, the groups rehearse from August 8, on Mondays and Thursdays, between 14:30 and 19:30. The coordination is by Professor Dr. Handel Cecílio, while the regency is by conductor Elicelma Reis.

At the Baptist School of Music, those interested can take keyboard lessons, piano, guitar, electric guitar, singing, saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, electric bass, drums, recorder or transverse, choral and orchestral conducting, music theory and early childhood music. To register, the online form is available and, once completed, the interested party receives additional information with classes and values.
