On December 15, 2004 I concluded the bachelor’s degree in piano I started in March 2002 at the School of Music (ESMU) – State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG). This piece by Chopin, used to illustrate this page, was chosen by me because it is one of the compositions by Chopin that I listened to the most as a child, being him one of my favorite composers. Soon after, in 2005, I started my post-graduate studies, first with a specialization in organ performance practices, and then the master’s and doctorate, with one year at the University of Coimbra, ending everything in February 2014. In the program of my graduation concert, I express myself thus: I praise God for life and for the gift of Music and, because through Music, I made my life!
