Debut of Rodgers Trillium Masterpiece 908 was marked by dedication service and concert
On December 14, 2008, the Memorial Baptist Church of Brasilia debuted its new organ, a Rodgers Trillium Masterpiece 908. The instrument – consisting of three manuals, a 32-note pedalboard and a module that aggregates more than 1,200 sounds and timbres – was installed by professionals from the Roland Technical Center.
In addition to the dedication service, the model was used during the concert of the organist Handel Cecilio, from Belo Horizonte, who performed pieces by renowned authors such as Henry Purcell, Léon Boëllmann, Johann Sebastian Bach, Amaral Vieira and Georg Philipp Telemann.
