Reborn from the Ashes, Revealing a Fantastic History

Abstract: Long forgotten and abandoned, the organ from Parish Church of Our Lady Aparecida in the District of Córregos in Minas Gerais, reappears revealing old secrets and historic informations about the organ construction ignored at the time. An intriguing history links the instrument of Córregos to the one from Church of the Carmo in Diamantina and only after 57 years later this story comes to light and the organ of Diamantina is presented on a different light. This work results from a Master’s research Unicamp University.
