The project “Espacio, Vida & Música” in the city of Seville works with the formation of orchestras and musical teaching with children from the age of 3 together with their families. It is a strategy for evangelization that uses music and human relationships, friendships between believers and non-believers for the knowledge of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. As part of this project, several organ concerts have been held with Dr. Handel Cecilio, a renowned Brazilian organist, and a group of Portuguese and Spaniards who have been willing to participate in concerts of this nature here in Seville. For me it was a great privilege to participate in this musical project, which is very serious and true, which has generated fruits, not only musical, but transforming lives, families, parents, children; young people, teenagers, children. It is always a very pleasant environment, truly Christian, and very pleasant to participate and follow in person, or even when I am at a distance. “Espacio, Vida & Música” and “IEBSevilla” will be giving a “Mater Class” of Liturgical Organ for piano students who are interested in learning about this type of instrument from Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th of January from 16:30 to 18:00 hrs.
If you know any piano teacher or student, please let them know.
Also, on Tuesday, January 29 at 19:30 hrs. we will have a beautiful organ and trumpet concert with Handel Cecilio and Alejandro Gomez, two renowned musicians here in the temple of the IEBS (free admission).
