4th Day of the III Provincial Chapter Celebration
After the election of the Provincial Superior and his Council, on this fourth day of the Chapter Assembly, the proposals and objectives for the Province of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross for the quadrennium 2022-2026 were discussed. It was a moment of sharing, exchange of experiences, dreams and hopes among the religious capitulants. The Provincial Superior left his message of expectations, dreams and challenges for the province as he saw it, but he stated that his first step will be to always seek the culture of dialog and encounter with all the religious and laity of the Province and the Passionist Family as Pope Francis asks us.
Then the religious left for the Sanctuary of St. Paul of the Cross where they could participate in the Organ and Singing Concert in the new Choir of the Sanctuary of St. Paul of the Cross, recently inaugurated, with the presence of the organist Handel Cecílio and the soprano Marisa Simões. Then, the Mass of Presentation of the New Provincial Superior and New Curia of government of the Province was celebrated and the rite of possession of the new provincial was done through the public profession of faith. The celebration was presided by Father Henrique Evangelista de Oliveira, concelebrated by the Chapter Fathers and transmitted by the WebTV of the Sanctuary of St. Paul of the Cross.
